Sustainability

We support the controlled and sustainable use of nature’s resources by sourcing our woods only from those providers who employ sustainable practices in their foresting operations.

We purchase wood from Amazonian communities that are Forest Stewardship Council certified to manage their own forests through a long-term plan that will sustain the forest and maintain its variety of species.  Amazon Millworks is currently working with certification agencies to establish a "timber chain of custody" that tracks the wood from the forest floor to our factory and the products that we create.
